Filming in Gash-Setit Wildlife Reserve
Gash-Setit is located in Omhajer District and Haykota District southwest of Haykota between the market town of Tesseney in the Gash-Barka region, Eritrea. The Reserve covers an area of 709 km. The name is derived from the two rivers, the Gash and the Setit River that cross the reserve.
The reserve is the best place to film antelopes in Eritrea it is also referred to as the Land of Antelopes. It also offers an opportunity to film the historical area of the Kunama people and a site of conflict and dispute between the Ethiopians and the Eritreans.
